In this role, you will handle customer transactions, provide excellent customer service, and maintain an organized checkout area. Your responsibilities will include processing payments, issuing receipts, assisting customers with inquiries, and ensuring accurate cash handling.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process customer purchases and payments accurately using the designated POS system.
• Ensure all transactions (cash, credit, and other payment methods) are recorded correctly.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers with inquiries.
• Maintain cash register balances and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
• Handle refunds, exchanges, and discrepancies in accordance with company policies.
• Follow cash handling and security procedures to prevent loss or errors.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Report any operational issues or concerns to the Supervisor Cashier.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in Arabic and English
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a cashier role, preferably in retail, hospitality, or food markets.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge
