JOB DESCRIPTION

Eliminate ambiguity or misinterpretation of scope by bidders.

• Review technical amendments, respond to bidder queries during the tendering stage, and evaluate technical offers including deviations.
• Highlight and resolve technical clarifications and prepare the Technical Recommendation Report.

Design Review and Compliance:

• Review and comment on design drawings, documents, BIM models, and vendor approval requests submitted by contractors or consultants.
• Ensure compliance with qualification methodologies, and scope of works.
• Finalize and issue Non-Compliance Notes (NCNs) where required.

Factory Inspections and Quality Assurance:

• Attend factory inspections as required to verify that products comply with approvals, specifications, and international standards.
• Ensure proper documentation of inspection results and observations.
• Review compliance statements and provide recommendations for Dispatch Clearance issuance.

Technical Coordination and Meetings:

• Coordinate and participate in various technical, design, and progress meetings to address and resolve raised technical issues.

QUALIFICTAION

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
  Experience/Qualification
• Minimum 4 years experience in high voltage transmission field, design, engineering, quality control
  and testing of Cables and accessories for Bachelors degree holder
• Minimum 7 years experience in high voltage transmission field, design, engineering, quality control
  and testing of Cables and accessories for Diploma holder
• Strong problem solving skills to propose technical solutions
• Strong Knowledge in International Standards (IEEE, IEC, BS)
• Proficiency in technical report writing
• Preferred related experience in engineering design software’s (i.e. BIM, Revit)

Study CAR with ring diagram and understand NOC drawings.

Prepare weekly and daily plans for cable laying and excavation targets.

Coordinate weekly plans and commissioning priorities.

Coordinate with pre-survey team for demarcation and job execution clearance.

Coordinate for hired manpower and machinery requirements.

Coordinate with fleet, safety, and material departments for equipment, vehicles, safety arrangements, and material requirements for daily activities.
