The Art Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing art-related programs, exhibitions, and events. This role involves working with artists, curators, vendors, and educational staff to ensure the smooth execution of art initiatives that align with the organization’s mission and creative goals.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plan and coordinate art workshops, exhibitions, and community art projects.
- Liaise with artists, art educators, and partner organizations to schedule activities.
- Manage event logistics, including venue setup, supplies, transportation, and permits
- Serve as the primary point of contact for artists and guest speakers.
- Support outreach efforts to engage community members, schools, or institutions.
- Coordinate volunteer or student participation in art programs.
QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Arts Management, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in arts coordination, education, or event planning.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
